MSU Surplus Store Plant Sale

Hundreds of plants will be available starting October 26 until they are gone or it snows. These plants need a good home and now is a great time to plant. Makes you think we planned this one...

There are many different unique species of exterior plants to choose from. Prices starting at $7 and nothing above $29!

We will also have expert growers on hand (not James or Tom) to help out with any questions or advice you are looking for.

We have lots to choose from all $2 to $3 each.

Don't forget MSU Community ReUse Days are ending tomorrow. It will be your last chance to clean your house of all of the items you don't need.

We are accepting items from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

MSU Community Reuse Days

The MSU Surplus Store & Recycling Center will be hosting MSU Community Reuse Days for students, faculty, staff and alumni October 11-15.

Materials Accepted for Free:

• Most e-waste and household electronics (see below)
• Good, usable furniture (no mattresses)
• Sporting goods including bicycles and exercise equipment
• Books, magazines, DVD's and CD's
• Scrap Metal
• Appliances
• Holiday decorations
• Knick knacks and trinkets
• Kitchen items
• If it's not on the list please contact us

Free e-waste disposal for most items:
Personal computers, keyboards and mouses, TV's, monitors, telephones, cell phones, laptops, small items such as coffee makers, vacuums and toasters.

The following will be collected and recycled for a fee:

• VCR's, printers and scanners: $2
• Microwaves: $8
• Large copy machines: $40
• Personal copy machines: $5

The MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center will be accepting drop-offs from 7:00am-3:00pm Monday through Friday, October 11-15. Unloading assistance will be provided.

All material collected will be resold, given away or recycled. Any revenue generated from the sale of collected materials will be used to help support and expand recycling services to the MSU community.
