Welcome Week is quickly approaching, and it’s time for the students who utilized MSU Surplus Store’s Storage Services to reclaim their belongings.
There are two options for retrieving your items and containers, and, regardless of which one you choose, it’s recommended that you call us at (517) 355-0364 at least 2 weeks prior to schedule an appointment.
The first option is to pick up your belongings from the MSU Surplus Store. Storage is off-site, so we can either meet you at our location (just off of Farm Lane, between Mt. Hope Rd. and Service Rd.) or at the old Printing building (on the corner of Harrison Rd. and Service Rd.), as long as you schedule a pick-up time no less than 24 hours in advance.
The second option is to have the MSU Surplus Store deliver your items to you. We will deliver on campus or within 15 miles, and the delivery charge is $50. If you paid for redelivery with your original order, simply call to schedule a drop-off at least 2 weeks in advance. If you have not paid for redelivery yet, place an order for “Student Storage Delivery” in the “Student Storage” category and call at least 2 weeks before you would like your items delivered.
Whichever option you choose, please be mindful that there are hundreds of other orders, and many students are just as anxious to retrieve their items during a very small window of time. We are doing our best to accommodate everyone; the further in advance you contact us, the more freedom you will have in choosing when your items will be available.
